Christopher Bradley Werren, 62, of South Wayne passed away at the Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County in Darlington.  He was born on July 14, 1962 at St. Clare Hospital in Monroe, the son of Russell Sr., and Marie (Haeni) Werren.  Chris graduated from Black Hawk High School in 1980 and went on to receive his degree in Automotive Mechanics from Fennimore Technical College.  While attending college Chris rebuilt his fathers Allis Chalmers WD 45 tractor. 

Chris Started his adult life with a towing service in the town of South Wayne until he obtained his own facility for mechanics in Browntown.  He was the owner/operator of C.B. Repairs for many years.  Through the years Chris also worked for Monroe Truck and Babler Trucking.  He also assisted with emergency calls for International Towing in Monroe while they were in business.  Chris was a long-time member of the South Wayne Fire Department. 

Chris enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and loved to go for rides with Tiffany in his Ford Mustang.  He also had a love for Ford cars and Allis Chalmers Tractors. 

Chris is survived by his fiancé, Tiffany Melland; step-son, River Melland both of South Wayne; sister, Paulette Williams, brothers, Leslie Werren, David (Rhonda) Werren, Robert Sr. (Nancy) Werren, Russell Jr. (Sherri) Werren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Katheleen (Tom) Figi; brother, Stephen “Roundy” Werren; nephews, Jeffrey Figi in infancy and Robert A. Werren Jr.; and brother-in-law, Jasper Williams.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Perger officiating.  Burial will follow at LaDue Cemetery
