Charlene G. LaDow, age 79 of South Wayne, WI passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at The Monroe Clinic Hospital in Monroe, WI. She was born June 29, 1939 in Darlington, WI the daughter of Emil and Annie (Vinger) Buehler. Charlene began working as a factory worker on an assembly line for Micro Switch in Warren, IL and worked there for 27 years. She was united in marriage to LeRoy Henry LaDow on July 21, 1956 in Darlington, WI.

Charlene is survived by her 9 children: Linda (Randy) Hanson of Argyle, WI, Annice Mau of Albany, WI, Mary Jane (Dan) Reinbold of Woodford, WI, Donna Brummer of Madison, WI, Jeff (Donna) LaDow of Freeport, IL, David LaDow of South Wayne, WI, Jim LaDow of Winslow, IL, Tracy (Amber) LaDow of Gratiot, WI, and Chester (Angela) LaDow of Gratiot, WI; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband LeRoy on January 8, 2015; one son: Orlando LaDow in October of 1971; two sisters; and two brothers.

Charlene enjoyed cross-stitching, quilting, and word searches. She also enjoyed spending time with family creating memories that they will cherish and hold onto forever. Charlene will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle, WI (801 East Milwaukee St, Argyle, WI) with Rev. Daniel L. Bohlman of Apple Grove Lutheran Church officiating. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle.
