Catherine M. Boss, age 78 of Albany, died Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born on September 30, 1942 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Omer and Harriet (McKnight) Peevyhouse. She graduated from South Wayne High School. Catherine married Victor W. Boss on February 24, 1963 in Monroe.

Catherine was employed with Ogden Manufacturing in Albany for many years and was a volunteer for the Albany Thrift Store. She loved to read and enjoyed gardening, crocheting and being a grandma.

She is survived by her children: Richard (Cherie) Boss of Albany and Sharon (Jeff) Nelson of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren: Owen and Gabrielle Boss, Caleb and Carter Nelson; and sister, Diane (Earl) Rogers, of Nora, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor; daughter, Teresa Boss and brother, Roy.

Private graveside services were held at Hillcrest cemetery in Albany.
