Carl C. Reynolds, age 86, of Monroe, died on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. He was born on July 18, 1931 in Crawford County, WI; the son of Olen and Leta (Wayne) Reynolds.

Carl married Dorothy Van Lent and later married Dorothy Kenney. 

He later married Billie Jean Frauchiger on February 28, 1976 in Browntown, WI.

Carl farmed and later worked for the Illinois Central Railroad as a journeyman pipefitter.

He was a member of Steamfitters Local Union #601; and the Apple River Sportsman’s Club.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working with his hands and enjoyed the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife Billie, of Monroe, 10 children: Doug Reynolds and Dave (Sue) Reynolds both of Apple River, IL; Tim (Nancy) Reynolds of Warren, IL; Sharon Brinkmeier of Apple River, IL; Steve (Barb) Reynolds of Apple River, IL; Jeff (Laura) Reynolds of Warren, IL; Jackie (Jim) Fero of Whitewater; Cory (Katie) Reynolds of McFarland, Melissa (Steve) Guth of Monroe; and Casey Reynolds of Monroe; 23 grandchildren and 1 on the way; 15 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; 7 step-grandchildren; 15 step great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Ryland (Judith) Reynolds of Cable, WI.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 children, Brenda Reynolds in infancy and Dan Reynolds; 5 sisters and 2 brothers; a grandson, Nicholas Reynolds; 2 great grandkids: Morgan Bauman and Hannah Mau.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Peace Church of Christ in Browntown with Pastor Scott Cernek officiating.

Visitation will be Monday, June 11th, from 4:00 — 7:00 P.M. at the SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE funeral home in Monroe.
