Beverly A Hilliard, age 88, of Monroe, passed away on November 6, 2025.   She was born September 10, 1937 to Herman and Emma Babler in Monroe.  She graduated from Monticello High School in 1955.  Beverly married Darrell Hilliard on July 6, 1958 at Monticello, WI.  The couple spent many wonderful years working together on the family dairy farm and raising their children. The couple especially enjoyed attending their kids and grandkids athletic events.  In 1990, Darrell and Bev moved into town, and for awhile Darrell still went out to the farm most days, while Bev worked part-time at Carpet Village for a few years before retiring. At this time, she became an even more devoted to her grandchildren and then later her great-grandchildren as they would stop in often to see “Grandma Hilliard”.  Bev especially looked forward to the Christmas season with her family.

Beverly is survived by her four children: Vickie (Scott) DeNure of Monroe, Doug (Kelly) Hilliard of Monroe, Jodi Hilliard (Jim Lukken) of Monticello, and Greg (Gaila) Hilliard of Monroe.  She is further survived by her grandchildren:  Kyle (Melissa) DeNure, Tyler (Andrea) DeNure, Mitch (Megan) DeNure, Brandon (Megan) Hilliard, Desmond Ford (Jessica Kosharek), Kaylynn Conway, Lexi (Hunter) Weckerly and Sydney Hilliard; step-grandchildren: Nick Rieder and Kris Rieder; Also her great grandchildren:  Dash, Cruz, Camden, Louie, Bryce, Nolan and Colin DeNure, Paisley Hilliard and Lydia Alt.  She is further survived by her sisters-in-law: Lavonne Kurth, Linda Kraeft and Carolyn Hilliard; brothers-in-law Ron Shippy and Tom Kraeft; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell on February 21, 2025; her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dean and Lydia Hilliard; her brothers, Donald Babler and Allan Babler; her sister, Jean Shippy; and brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws Ron Hilliard, Jim Kurth and Evelyn Babler.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home in Monroe with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating.  A luncheon will follow at the Junction House.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 18th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and on Wednesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.  A memorial fund has been established.  Condolences may be shared at www.newcomerfuneralhome.net.
