Barbara Ann Wolff, age 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 18th, 2022, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe. She was born October 4th, 1932, the daughter of Dale and Eileen (Montgomery) Taft. Barbara married Kenneth Wolff on June 28th, 1974, he preceded her in death on August 7th, 2005.

Barbara graduated from Monroe High School in 1950 and from Green County Normal Teachers College in 1952. After graduating from college, she taught elementary education at Ullom and East Clarno Rural Schools. She later was employed as a surgical secretary with St. Claire Hospital. Most of all, she may be remembered as a local entrepreneur, owning and operating the Dog & Suds Drive-in Restaurant in Monroe, as well as establishing her own professional auto detailing service.

Barbara was a former member of the Monroe United Methodist Church.

Barbara is survived by her son, David (Debra) Stauffacher of Green Bay; grandchildren, Tyler and Sydney Stauffacher of Green Bay; and sister, Susan Taft of Monroe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sons, Steven and Michael Stauffacher.

A private family graveside service will be held in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.
