Ann "Annie" Shirley Patterson, 74, of South Beloit, Illinois, formerly of Monroe, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2021, at Fair Oaks in South Beloit.

Annie was born on August 5, 1946 in Marshfield, Wisconsin. She was a 1964 graduate of Monroe High School and then attended beauty school. Annie worked as a beautician, cooked at a Monroe restaurant, and was a caregiver to her mother. She hosted many family holiday dinners and was an excellent cook. Annie spent countless hours working on her many cross-stitch, knitting, and crochet projects. She also had a lifetime love of reading and read many books, but most importantly she served as the family babysitter. A job she loved more than any other.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Max Harms, and Shirley Wong; and her beloved son, Nick Patterson.

She is survived by her son, Todd (Sara) Patterson of Monroe, Wisconsin; daughter, Christina Patterson of Beloit, Wisconsin; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Patterson of Lena, Illinois; former daughter-in-law, Kristy Patterson of Lena, Illinois; brothers, Jerry Harms of New Castle Virginia, Larry (Linda) Harms of Monroe, Wisconsin, and Garry (Lynn) Harms of Monroe, Wisconsin; two special nieces, Karla Harms and Morgan Harms; nephew, Jeremy Harms; grandchildren, Kaylin, Anna, Zarian, Taylor, Max, Zayden, Maggie, and Molly; and two great-nephews, Gavin and Oliver.

Annie will be laid to rest next to her father at Greenwood cemetery in Monroe, Wisconsin at a later date. Arrangements Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home, 424 Prospect Street, Beloit, Wisconsin 53511 is honored to be assisting the family.
