Allan W. “Butch” Boelk, age 74 of South Wayne, WI passed away peacefully in his home on July 11, 2024. He was born on August 23, 1949 to Paul and Freida (Butts) Boelk. Al was a lifelong resident of South Wayne, graduating from South Wayne High School in 1967.  He was married to the love of his life Phyllis (Walters) Boelk until her passing one day shy of their 30th wedding anniversary.

 Allan worked as a farmer until 1992 when he became a forklift driver for Grede, a job he enjoyed very much. After retiring in 2022 Allan enjoyed raising cows with his son, Mark. Allan was known for his humor, the twinkle in his eye, and his love of singing country songs at the local bars.

 He is survived by his son, Mark (Katie Johnsen) Boelk. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis, brothers, Marvin, Loyd and Roger Boelk and his parents.

 A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Union Cemetery in South Wayne.
