MONROE - A free yard waste drop-off for the City of Monroe will be held from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 19 at the streets and sanitation department, 1064 5th Ave.
Yard waste includes leaves, grass clippings, garden plants, sticks and branches.
Yard waste should be in a clear or blue waterproof bag with a capacity of no more than 33 gallons and weighing 60 pounds or less. Sticks, branches, brush, stalks and other yard waste not easily bagged should be tied in bundles.
