MONROE - Green County Sheriff Jeff Skatrud Friday announced changes in personnel at the sheriff's department.
Richard Wyttenbach, who has more than 31 years of law experience, has been promoted to chief deputy. Wyttenbach previously served as police chief in New Glarus and as a lieutenant for the sheriff's department. He began his new duties on Jan. 3.
Adam Bass has been hired as a deputy sheriff and begins his work with the department today. Bass worked as a part-time police officer in Albany and Brodhead. Bass has an associate's degree in criminal justice and graduated from the law enforcement recruit academy at Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville.
Carson Hoeper has been hired as a deputy sheriff and begins his work with the department will begin his career as a jailer on Jan. 10. Hoeper attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and recently graduated from the law enforcement academy at Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville.
