MONROE — Talent attraction is a critical part of the regional economic engine, and both public and private employers struggle to meet their workforce needs. Prosperity Southwest and Green County Development Corporation/Lafayette Development Corporation is hosting a series of free online sessions to help address this issue. 

The sessions will focus on two strategies: Attracting military veterans leaving active duty, and attracting skilled immigrants for manufacturing and healthcare positions. 

There will also be time to learn successful strategies directly from regional employers. 

The day will benefit employers who want to be competitive in today’s hiring environment.
