MONROE - A Monroe woman was arrested Sunday on a seventh-offense charge of driving while intoxicated in the W2700 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Jefferson.

Cheryl A. Golackson, 57, was arrested at 12:37 a.m. after Green County deputies observed her driving left of the centerline. Upon investigation, Golackson was found to be intoxicated.

On Monday, Golackson signed a $25,000 signature bond with conditions that she not possess or consume intoxicants or enter establishments that sell intoxicants.

Golackson's last drunk driving offense occurred more than 10 years ago, on Sept. 12, 2005. Golackson was convicted on that charge and sentenced to 18 months in prison and had her license revoked for three years.

Golackson's 2005 offense violated her three-year probation from her fifth drunk driving offense in 2003.

Aside from her third offense in 1997, Golackson's other drunk driving offenses occurred out of state.

Golackson will appear in court for her preliminary hearing on June 3.
