MONROE - Road work begins on the bridges on Wisconsin 11 between Wis. 69 south and Wis. 69 north next week.
Green County Highway Department supervisor Dick Marty said the work will begin Monday and is expected to continue for six to eight weeks.
One lane will be closed to both east bound and west bound traffic while road crews tear up two inches of concrete on the bridges, make repairs under the cement and then replace the cement.
Motorists should slow down and watch out for road workers and machinery, Marty said.
