ARGYLE - Loren Bruehlman, Stanton Bigelow and Caroline Rossing were the top three vote getters in Tuesday's election for the Argyle school board.
Bruehlman and Bigelow each received 226 votes, about 23 percent. Rossing received 198 votes, about 20 percent of the vote. Peter Herman received 173 votes, about 17.6 percent of the vote, and Larry Flannery received 159 votes, about 16 percent of the vote.
There were three positions available for the board.
In the race for New Glarus School Board, Larry Stuessy and incumbent Martin Andersen were the top two vote getters.
Stuessy received 761 votes, about 38 percent, while Andersen received 503 votes, about 25 percent.
Challengers Nathan Johnson received 379 votes, about 19 percent, and Paul Heberer received 336 votes, about 17 percent.
Perry township in Dane County hadn't reported its results to board clerk Janet Sherven as of Wednesday morning, but Sherven said the votes from the township would not change the top two candidates.
