DARLINGTON - A warrant was recently issued by the Lafayette County Circuit Court for the arrest of a Beloit woman on charges that she sold prescription narcotic drugs in Argyle last summer.
Karie L. Sweet, 47, was charged Feb. 19 with two Class E felony counts of delivering narcotics. Court records indicate she sold the drugs to a confidential police informant on June 22 on Wisconsin 81 in Argyle.
The sale included two transdermal Fentanyl patches containing 50 micrograms per hour for $100 and ten 10-milligram pills of oxycodone hydrochloride, commonly known as oxycontin, for $110.
