MONROE — Amanda Walker has joined the Monroe Times as a reporter. 

Walker moved to Monroe in mid-September from Washington state, where she previously worked as a writer and community content coordinator for The Wenatchee World.

She has a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash-ington.
