MONROE - There is still time to vote for your favorite two-dimensional and three-dimensional "Best of Show" pieces of artwork in The Lower Sugar River Associations juried art show "Seasons of the Sugar River - Catching the light: Cultural edges and transitional spaces."
The exhibit is on display through March 24 in the Frehner Gallery at the Monroe Arts Center. More than 20 artists have their artwork on display.
Final votes will be listed after the show closes on the LSRWA'S website lsrwa.org. The website also has additional information and a registration form for a day-long adult art class with Jan Norsetter and Jonathan Wilde on June 3. In addition, a half-day student workshop on "Art and Science" taught by artist Tina Duemler and biologist Susan Lehnhardt is being held Sept. 9 at Honey Creek Park in Monroe. The morning session is for students in grades one through four and the afternoon session is for students in grades five through seven.
The Monroe Arts Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and is at 1315 11th St.
