Victim in crash ID’ed
fatal accident

TOWN OF SPRING GROVE — The Green County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a Rock County woman who died at the scene after crashing her car west of Brodhead early Sept. 28.

Kerri L. Morga, 42, Clinton, was ejected from her 2010 Ford Escape. The crash was reported shortly before 2 a.m. Sept. 28 at the intersection of Wisconsin 81, Wisconsin 11 and County GG.

An investigation by deputies found she was westbound on Wis. 81 when the SUV left the road, entered the west ditch of County GG and collided with an embankment. It then struck another embankment, continued onto private property and collided with machinery and an unoccupied storage building.

Morga leaves behind two sons and her parents, according to a public Facebook post by Durham School Services, a charter bus company in Beloit.

“It is with regret that we announce the tragic passing of our former employee Kerri Morga ...she was a hard worker who wanted and strived for nothing more than a better life for herself and her children. ... She will be missed by many.”
