BLANCHARDVILLE - The 30th annual Cruis'n Wisconsin Car, Motorcycle and Truck Show will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 10 at McKellar Park in Blanchardville. The judged show will present more than 130 trophies in 40 classes. Last year there were 342 entries. There will be a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, t-shirts, beer, soda and food, with dash plaques to the first 300 vehicles.

Non-food, craft and swap vendors are welcome: Fees are $6 per vendor.

The featured vehicle this year is a completely home-built 1964 Buick Riviera, "Deception," owned by Ken Becker, Jr. of Mokena, Illinois. This two-tone green vehicle, powered by a 425 Buick Nailhead and turbo 400 transmission, has won several top awards around the country.

The local spotlight this year will be Argyle resident Randy Martin's 1930 Ford Sedan, which he built himself. The special attraction will be Ballistic Cycles of Blue Mounds, which will be displaying its custom cycle work.

Registration is from 8 a.m. to noon. Registration fees are $8 if made by July 6; after that the fee will be $15. The fee for cars that are for sale or for display only, not to be judged, is $8.

Admission is $2; children under age 12 get in free. This event will be held rain or shine. For more information or to register, contact Aaron Jorenby at 608-523-4338.
