NEW GLARUS - The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Banks announced the promotion of Valerie Blumer to assistant branch manager of the Monroe branch.
Blumer started with the bank as a CSR at the New Glarus branch in 2008; she moved to the Monroe branch as a personal banker in 2012.
Blumer has been married to her husband, Rick, for 38 years. They have three children and four grandchildren.
