MONROE - Two 19-year-old men have been arrested in connection with recent burglaries at a gun club and a cheese factory west of Monroe on Wisconsin 81.

Nicholas D. Siegel, Monroe, and Cody A. Young, Argyle, are charged with two counts of burglary and criminal damage to property, according to a release late Monday from the Green County Sheriff's Department.

Siegel was arrested in Monroe late Sunday, Aug. 5. Young was arrested the following morning, also in Monroe. Both were jailed pending an initial appearance in court.

The two men allegedly forced entry into the Argyle Rod and Gun Club, W9141 Wis. 81, and stole alcoholic beverages, change and other items. The club reported the burglary on July 22.

Green County worked with Lafayette County detectives and Monroe and Argyle police to find the suspects.

State court records indicate Siegel was convicted and jailed 10 months in Green County for felony burglaries that occurred in 2010. He is still on a five-year probation related to those convictions.

Young has no criminal record in Wisconsin, only traffic and forfeiture citations, according to court records.
