Two men arrested for growing marijuana

DARLINGTON - Two men were arrested this week after investigators uncovered a marijuana growing operation in the Town of Lamont.

Cody L. Bevins, 26, Blanchardville, was arrested Wednesday after investigators from the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant in the 14000 block of County D, Town of Lamont. Officers found marijuana plants and growing paraphernalia.

Bronson H. Ubersox, 25, Shullsburg, was arrested Thursday in connection with the same operation.

Bevins was released on bond, while Ubersox remains in custody.

Both face charges for their involvement in the operation, although no charges have been filed yet. The investigation into the operation is ongoing.

Officers from Argyle and Monroe police departments assisted.
