MONROE - The Green County Bar Association will recognize two local community members on their membership in the Wisconsin Pro Bono Honor Society with a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Monday to be held in Branch 1 at the Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th St.

Timothy J. Burns, Monroe, and Michael T. Gengler, Monticello, are part of the group of 398 lawyers who earned membership in the Pro Bono Honor Society by providing at least 50 hours of qualifying free or low-cost legal assistance to help low income residents in 2014.

The public is invited to the ceremony.

The Pro Bono Honor Society was created by the Wisconsin Access to Justice Commission as a volunteer recognition program for attorneys.
