DARLINGTON — Two individuals were arrested Tuesday morning, Feb. 11, following a narcotics search warrant executed at a residence in Darlington, according to Lafayette County Sheriff Reg Gill. The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Darlington Police Department, the Richland, Iowa, Grant Drug Task Force, and the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, conducted the raid at 318 E. Mary Street at approximately 6:30 a.m.
Trevor Anthony Lee Huntoon, 29, and Brittany Nicole Long, 32, were taken into custody and transported to the Lafayette County Jail. They are tentatively charged with maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of THC with intent to deliver, possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession or delivery within 1,000 feet of a school.
The case will be forwarded to the Lafayette County District Attorney’s Office for evaluation of additional charges. Both individuals remain in custody pending an initial court appearance.
