MONROE - The seventh annual Green County Fall Nationals Truck and Tractor Pull will bring some of the most talented and recognized names in the tractor and truck pulling circuit to the Green County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Tractor pullers from more than eight states are expected at the event.

The event helps the GCFN organization donate proceeds back to the community. The largest donation in 2013 was $7,000 presented to former Green County Sheriff Jeff Skatrud, to help initiate the Autism/Alzheimer Care Find program for Green County. GCFN was recently honored with receiving the Sheriff's Award for donating to the project.

The truck and tractor pull event will be held from noon to about 7 p.m. Charm School Rejects will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight, rain or shine. In case of rain, tractor pull tickets purchased will be honored in 2014.

The line-up for the pull includes 6500 Light Limited Super Stock, Limited Pro Stock, Unlimited Alcohol Super Stock, 466 Hot Farm, Super Farm, Pro Stock, Pro Farm, two-wheel drive Modified Trucks and Diesel Super Stock Trucks.

Free parking will be provided, as well as camping on the fair grounds.

Tickets purchased prior to the day of the pull are $15 per ticket and will include the pull, the band and a chance at the drawing. Tickets purchased the day of the pull will not be entered in the drawing and the band will be an additional $5. Fuzzy's Audio and Video of Monroe donated the first prize, a 50 inch LG plasma TV. Other prizes include a leather recliner from Pierce Furniture, a chainsaw, a leaf blower, a trimmer and dry wet vacuum from Sugar River Power Center of New Glarus, a Budweiser tent, motel stays and numerous cash prizes that include Jordan Ag Supply, Jordan Implement, R. Mueller Stainless and Randy Bump (Wyffels Hybrids).
