MONROE - The City of Monroe is upgrading the traffic signal controller and traffic signal wiring at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and 8th Street.
At 9 a.m. Wednesday the signal controller at the intersection will be replaced. During this time, the intersection will be narrowed to one lane of travel in each direction with a four-way stop control at the intersection. The work is expected to be completed by 6 p.m. with the intersection back in full operation after 6 p.m.
Motorists should use caution in passing through the intersection and when traveling in the area. Minor delays are to be expected.
