ORANGEVILLE — The Stephenson County Sheriff’s Office has received toxicology results for both drivers involved in the August 9, 2025, fatal crash on Illinois Route 26 North near Oneco Road in rural Orangeville that claimed the lives of Darcy Connolly-Brunner, 61, and Rolando Ico-Choc, 30.

Laboratory testing confirmed that Ico-Choc had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .244, which is more than three times the legal limit in Illinois. No alcohol was detected in Connolly-Brunner’s system.

The final reports from the Illinois State Police Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit and the Stephenson County Coroner’s Office have not yet been received.
