MONROE - Mayor Bill Ross will declare Tuesday, July 16, as "Green Bay Packers Day in Monroe, Wisconsin" and urges citizens to join with him in paying tribute to the Packers and thanking them for the new playground in Lincoln Park.
Ross will issue a proclamation to honor the Green Bay Packers and thank them for their donation of the playground at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16 at city hall. City council members and staff have been encouraged to wear Packer attire or green and gold to the council meeting tonight.
