MONROE - The Monroe Times will print a newspaper edition on Wednesday, Nov. 11, despite the fact the U.S. Postal Service will not be making deliveries on Veterans Day.
Times subscribers will have their Wednesday papers delivered with Thursday's mail. However, Wednesday editions will be available at regular single-copy locations - news racks and in stores - beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday. And as a convenience to subscribers, they can pick up a free copy of Wednesday's paper at the Times office, 1065 4th Ave. West in Monroe, during business hours.
Local news from Wednesday's edition also will be published online at www.themonroetimes.com on its regular schedule.
