MONROE - A fundraiser to benefit the Arrowhead District in Green County Wisconsin and Blackhawk Area Boy Scout Council is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. July 29 at Minhas Brewery, 1208 14th Ave., Monroe.
The first Taste of Green County event will benefit Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture Scouts and Explorers and their leaders in Green, Lafayette and Grant counties.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the brewery at 7 p.m., try Minhas brews and taste sample-sized foods from many Green County restaurants and vendors. There will be musical entertainment and drawings for numerous large ticket items, as well as silent auctions for dozens of donated items. The ending to this event will be Boy Scout homemade cobbler made on-site in Dutch ovens, paired with ice cream from the Green County Ag Chest.
