JUDA - Three search warrants executed by the State Line Area Narcotics Team and local law enforcement resulted in one arrest of a Juda resident in possession of four grams of marijuana and a digital scale used for weighing the drug.

Terry Reece, 38, was arrested Friday at his residence in the W2900 block of Main Street and charged with one count of possession of cannabis, a Class F felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

SLANT agents worked in conjunction with the Green County Sheriff's Department, the Monroe Police Department and the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department to execute the warrants at Reece's house and the two other residences.

According to a Green County Sheriff's Department news release, one of the two other residences was in the W2900 block of Washington Street and the other house was on the same block as Reece's home. Law enforcement siezed a rifle, a scale and drug paraphernalia at the second residence on Main Street. Officers siezed a shotgun, scales and drug paraphernalia at the residence on Washington Street.

Reece appeared in Green County Circuit Court Tuesday, and had a signature bond set at $3,000 with additional conditions that he not do drugs or possess drug paraphernalia. He has a preliminary hearing set for Sept. 3. Future charges of different subjects are pending further investigation.
