Third Monticello plan forum set for March 17

MONTICELLO - A Community Input Forum will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 17 at Gabriella's Restaurant, 149 N. Main St., Monticello, for the 10-year Monticello Comprehensive Plan. This forum's activities will focus on economic development, including discussion of a culture of development and growth, workforce training and quality of life and tourism and attraction.

This is the third of four input forums for the comprehensive plan. The remaining forum will cover land use and implementation April 21. During these forums, participants will lend their experience, expertise and innovative ideas to shape the future of Monticello.

The Monticello planning process is being conducted by the Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission and supported by the village of Monticello.
