The only election on the ballot in Monroe and within The Monroe Times coverage areas in Green and Lafayette counties is a primary for state Supreme Court. In that race, incumbent Justice Pat Roggensack faces Marquette University law professor Ed Fallone and Milwaukee attorney Vince Megna. The two highest vote-getters will advance to the April 2 general election.
Voter turnout for spring primaries for Supreme Court races is traditionally low. Last week, the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board predicted voter turnout for Tuesday's election would be less than 10 percent.
A list of polling places in Green and Lafayette counties appears on Page A2 of today's edition.
