MILWAUKEE (AP) - Central Wisconsin may be in the bull's-eye of a winter storm expected to move into the state this week. Forecasters say the storm could dump as much as a foot of snow on parts of central Wisconsin.
The National Weather Service says the storm is expected to cross southern Wisconsin Tuesday.
Green County appears to be out of the direct path of the storm: Less than 4 inches of snow is expected to fall in the Monroe area Tuesday.
Lafayette County, however, is included in a winter storm watch and could receive more than 6 inches, according to the NWS.
Southeastern Wisconsin is expected to see lower snowfall totals as the snow changes to rain Tuesday afternoon and evening.
