State Senator Schultz to visit Green County

MADISON - State Senator Dale Schultz will make several stops in Green County on Thursday.

The first of five stops will be from 10 to 11 a.m. when Schultz job shadows Judge James Beer at the Green County Justice Center. He will be observing the day's court proceedings.

At his next stop, Schultz will meet with president of Minhas Craft Brewery, Gary Olson, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and tour the brewery.

Schultz will then learn about Swiss traditions of south-central Wisconsin as he meets with representatives of Turner Hall of Monroe from 1 to 2 p.m.

Community members can join Schultz at the Monroe Arts Center Gallery for a public listening session from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Afterwards Schultz will tour the center with executive director Richard Daniels.

Schultz's last stop in Monroe will be from 4:30 to 5 p.m. with Tony Ciske and Daniel Finkelstein, owners of Yes Coffee Roasters, to tour the facility and learn about their specialty coffee roasting process.
