State aid to school libraries

MADISON - School libraries throughout the state are sharing $35.3 million in payments made Monday from the Common School Fund, the Department of Public Instruction announced. Aid can be used to purchase books, media materials and computer equipment for public school libraries.

Here's what local school districts will receive:

• Albany: $13,757

• Argyle: $11,999

• Black Hawk: $26,692

• Brodhead: $44,024

• Darlington: $30,890

• Juda: $10,864

• Monroe: $93,437

• Monticello: $12,935

• New Glarus: $31,174

• Pecatonica: $19,118.
