Smith joins GRAEF as project engineer

MADISON - Monticello resident Tyler Smith has joined GRAEF, a Wisconsin-based engineering and consulting firm, as project engineer.

Smith, a registered professional engineer, has experience in a variety of projects including municipal engineering site design, storm water management and grading plan design. At GRAEF, as a project engineer in the infrastructure group, he will assist in site and grading plan analysis, utility plan design, cost analysis and construction observation.

Smith is a certified professional in erosion and sediment control and a Natural Resources Conservation Service Technical Service Provider. He has more than nine years of engineering experience and has worked on a variety of residential and commercial projects throughout Wisconsin. He has also assisted several farmers throughout Wisconsin in grant funding and site development services with farm expansion projects.

He received his bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2004.
