MONROE - The first of two segments on "Designing Spaces" featuring the Swiss Colony of Monroe was scheduled to air at 6:30 a.m. today on Lifetime.

The Swiss Colony sponsored the last two holiday episodes of the 2011 season of the TV series. The shows will honor four military families in Florida by redesigning various room in their homes.

The participating families were also given treats and gift baskets from Swiss Colony.
