DARLINGTON - The Lafayette County Sheriff's Department has been receiving unsolicited donations for the care of horses seized this week in a recent animal neglect case, Sheriff Scott Pedley said.
Pedley said the care of animals, which were found to be lacking adequate food, will be a costly and unbudgeted expense for his department.
