Matthew J. Buman, 47, and Charles S. Martelle, 55, will reside at 209 Main Street.
Buman's release date is July 9. Martelle's release date is July 23. Both will be on electronic monitoring and are barred from unsupervised
contact with children, consuming alcohol or drugs and patronizing taverns.
Martelle pleaded guilty in 1998 in Lafayette County to six counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Wisconsin state court records show no other criminal convictions for Martelle. The records indicate that prior to prison he had address in Shullsburg.
Darlington Chief of Police Jason King announced the release of Buman and Martelle on Friday and said his department does not know much about either man.
"They do not have ties to Darlington nor were their charges generated by DPD," he wrote in the release.
