MONROE — Area children who want to make sure their wishes are known to Old St. Nick are invited to submit a letter to Santa Claus for publication in the Monroe Times’ “Letters to Santa” pages.

Letters will be forwarded to Santa and published in the pages of the Times the week before Christmas. 

All letters also will be entered in a drawing for six randomly-selected $25 Monroe Money gift certificates. 

Children through age 12 are eligible to enter. Letters should include the child’s name, age, address and telephone number. Letters must be submitted by noon Dec. 4. Letters will be printed in a Dec. 16 special section insert as part of the Monroe Times.

Teachers submitting letters on behalf of their students should include the students’ first and last names, grade level and school.
