MONROE - The City of Monroe Utilities will be doing routine maintenance work from April 27 and through Oct. 31.
Maintenance work will include: Hydrant flushing, valve-turning, sewer-jetting and sewer-televising
Residents are reminded that some discoloration may occur in their water. The discoloration is caused by encrusted minerals being flushed from the walls of the mains. The best way to deal the discoloration is to turn on the cold tap and let the water run until it becomes clear.
