MONROE - Rep. Janis Ringhand, D-Evansville, will hold listening sessions in Monticello and Monroe May 1 and 2.
She has held a total of nine listening sessions throughout the 80th Assembly District over the last month.
Listening sessions are: 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 1 at Monticello Village Hall, 316 East Coates Ave., Monticello, and 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 at Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave.

Severe weather awareness training
DARLINGTON - The Lafayette County Emergency Management Agency, in conjunction with the National Weather Service, will be sponsoring a tornado spotters/severe weather awareness training session from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 23 at the Lafayette County Courthouse, 626 N. Main St.
