Resurfacing of Wis. 11 begins April 19
Road Work Zone

MONROE — Resurfacing work begins Monday (April 19) on two sections of WIS 11 in Green County.

Nearly 10 miles of Wis. 11 from west of Browntown to the Monroe city limits and 11 miles of Wis. 11 from just east of Monroe to the Brodhead city limits will be resurfaced.

Work will also include replacing beam guard in certain locations and adding centerline and shoulder rumble strips.

Wis. 11 will remain open to traffic with flagging operations. Motorists should slow down and watch for crews and equipment working near the travel lanes.

The $6.7 million project is scheduled to be completed in late September 2021.
