Public hearing for Monroe plan set for March 9

MONROE - A public hearing will be held by the City of Monroe for community members with an interest in the Monroe Comprehensive Plan Update.

A copy of the plan can be obtained for review from the City of Monroe clerk's office, 1110 18th Ave., Monroe, WI 53566, or on the City of Monroe's website (www.cityofmonroe.org) beginning Feb. 8 for 30 days.

The hearing will be held at 5 p.m. March 9 at Monroe City Hall, 1110 18th Ave.

Requests from persons with disabilities who need assistance to participate in this meeting, including the need for an interpreter, materials in alternate formats or other accommodations, should be made to the office of the city clerk at 608-329-2564 with as much advance notice as possible so that proper arrangements can be made.

This planning process is being completed by Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission in coordination with the City of Monroe, Green County Development Corporation, and UW Extension.
