MONROE - The Monroe Police Department has released a photograph of a vehicle believed to have been involved in a burglary at a Monroe business last weekend.

The photo, taken by a security camera in a parking lot outside the business at 11:49 p.m. Saturday, depicts a dark-colored pickup truck towing a white trailer approximately 12 feet long idling in front of the business.

The vehicle is believed to be a Chevrolet Silverado.

Police are seeking the vehicle in connection to a burglary that was discovered Tuesday at Precision Drive and Control, Inc., at 504 11th St. Approximately $50,000 of tools and equipment were discovered stolen from the scene.

According to a police report, the suspect or suspects forcibly entered the business, but other details of the incident are unknown. The burglary is possibly connected to a similar burglary that occurred in Iowa County, where a similar vehicle and trailer were observed, along with two male suspects.
