MONROE - Holly Gutsch has been named director of nursing at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Interim Administrator Terry Nelson said Wednesday.
She will begin her duties Dec. 14.
Gutsch works at a nursing care facility in Oshkosh. She and her husband plan to move to Monroe.
Nelson said Gutsch was selected because of her 25 years of experience in long-term care and more than five years experience as a director of nursing.
"She believes in teamwork, open communication, respect and being visible on the nursing units," Nelson said. "She sets high standards and works with the nursing staff to achieve those high standards."
The director of nursing position has been vacant since July, Nelson said.
