MONROE — Swiss Colony catalog’s petits fours made at Colony
Brands in Monroe are among the top 16 items competing for the title “Coolest
Thing Made in Wisconsin” in the contest’s fourth year.
The current round of voting, which will determine who advances to the top 8, is open until Sunday at 10 p.m.
Victors will be announced Monday, then voting on the final 8 will take place from Sept. 24-29.
There were more than 150 nominations, covering everything from vehicles to sporting goods to beverages, and only the top vote-getters advanced to be part of the bracket. The Swiss Colony’s petits fours — those tiny, chocolate-coated cakes especially popular at Christmas — made the cut and earned a 14 seed.
