Bachim began as the City of Monroe's new Deputy Treasurer on Aug. 18. As part of her duties, Bachim collects the water bill payments, city taxes and any other city revenues at the front window in City Hall.

Bachim said she was ready for a change, and is excited about her new position. Dealing with people is her favorite part of the job.

Bachim brings with her 15 years of secretarial experience at the Monroe Specialty Company.

Bachim has been married to Travis for 12 years, and they have a daughter, Morgan, 8.

What kind of music do you listen to, and your favorite artist?>

Country, and Shania Twain is a favorite.

What do you do for fun?>

I like hanging out with my family, watching the Packers and Brewers and playing volleyball.

If you won $1 million what would you do with it?>

I'd take my family on a trip to Hawaii, and then ... retire, of course.
