Christie Strait was recently elected president of the Green County Historical Society. Strait said she has always been interested in history. Working at the historical society allows her and her husband, Stewart, to spend time together, doing things they love.

Strait said she does a little bit of everything at the historical society, including mowing the lawn.

One of her goals is to continue to organize the archives and obituaries.

"That's something we've been doing for a while," she said.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?>

I'd love to go back to Switzerland. Or Jamaica.

Strawberry pie with whipped cream.

If you could invite three people, living or dead, to dinner, who would they be?>

Jesus and my mom and dad

What's your least favorite chore?>

Dusting. It always come right back.
